Ana Rosas Mantecón / Mexico

Ana Rosas Mantecón is an anthropologist, full-time teacher and researcher in the anthropology department at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Anthropology in Mexico City. Her research interests include cultural consumption, policies, audiences, tourism and urban heritage. Currently she is studying the interplay between creativity and social inclusion. She has presented lectures, courses and workshops in Mexico, the United Kingdom, the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Spain, Portugal and Germany, and is interested in cultural policy, museology, applied research and audience development. She coordinated the Research Group on Cultural Consumption at Clacso (Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales), comprised of specialists from six Latin American countries.
