Margot López is an architect and writer and has worked in the field of cultural journalism and as an instructor in art and architecture since 1993. Since 2008, she has coordinated communications for Biomuseo, planning its communication strategy, creating its first volunteer network, and participating in marketing and fundraising campaigns. In 2014, she was appointed head of the department of communications and marketing. She was a member of the winning team of the Prince Claus Award in 2001 for editing Talingo, a weekly magazine published by the newspaper La Prensa. López was part of the theater group Black Sheep and an adviser for the film Chance directed by Abner Benaim. She produced several radio programs of contemporary music and is a certified interpretive guide. López is a member of the team that organized Multiple City, a 2001–03 contemporary art event, and oversaw the concept of the accompanying catalogue.
