Alicia C. Martin
Alicia Martin is the coordinator of the department of Cultural Extension and Education of the Museo de Bellas Artes de La Boca de Artistas Argentinos “Benito Quinquela Martín”. She is also the argentine coordinator of the Project “Waterways: Connecting Communities”, from the MBQM and MC5Ps, Cleveland, TN, selected by the Museums Connect Program for the 2016-2017 edition, organized by the US Department of State and administrated by the American Alliance of Museums. She presented a case of study “The calendar of Celebrations of the MBQM” at the 2017 AAM Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo in Saint Louis, Missouri.
She has teaching experience at High School and University levels. Currently she is a professor at the Ciclo Pedagógico of the Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación y de la Comunicación de la Universidad del Salvador.
She has a History degree and specializes in cultural management. She has a postgraduate degree in management of Contemporary Art from the Universidad de Barcelona. She is part of the research group of the Nucleus on history of regional port cities of IDEHESI-CONICET.
