Carla Pinochet Cobos

Carla Pinochet Cobos is an anthropologist from Universidad de Chile and a PhD in Antropología Cultural from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Mexico.

She has written various specialized articles on topics such as artistic practices, museums, audiences and cultural policies. Her most recent book is “Derivas críticas del Museo en América Latina”, published by Siglo XXI Editores, México.

Currently, she is the director of the Anthropology program at the Universidad Alberto Hurtado, and the researcher responsible for the project FONDECYT "Sociabilidad y co-producción de la experiencia cultural en el espacio público urbano: las ferias y festivales culturales de la zona central de Chile”.

She is also a researcher at Fundación Nube, a platform for contemporary art and education.
