Ana Rosas Mantecón

Ana Rosas Mantecón is a professor and researcher at the Department of Anthropology of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Iztapalapa in Mexico. She is an anthropologist, specialist in audiences and cultural policies related to cinema, museums, tourism and heritage, as well as in organizations that link creativity and social inclusion. She has fostered the dialogue between theory and practice in cultural management through her participation in international, national and regional programs of professionalization of cultural managers, applied research and audience engagement. She has also given seminars in universities and public and private organizations that develop their work in the cultural field in the United States and various Latin American and European countries. She was coordinator of the Grupo de Trabajo sobre políticas y consumos culturales of the Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales, which brought together researchers from various countries in Latin America.
