Mario Amatiello

Mario Amatiello,“el chino”, is a museologist and currently the General Coordinator of the Museo Provincial de Ciencias Naturales “Dr. Ángel Gallardo” in Rosario, Argentina. He has worked in the museum since 2006 and coordinated the museology of the renovation project between 2015-2016. He is an Associate Professor of Museography II in the Escuela Superior de Museología in the city of Rosario. 

In love with museology, his professional career and his field of practice for more than twelve years, he is convinced that museums should become spaces for the construction of civic culture and negotiation on issues such as identity and memory, relevant in everyday life and mobilizers of social transformation.
