Silvia Cristina Singer Sochet

Museologist, General Director, founder and creator of the design model of the Museo Interactivo de Economía (MIDE), Mexico. President of the Science Center World Summit 2020 (SCWS 2020), Mexico. 

She directed the Science Museums of the UNAM: Universum and Museo de la Luz. She participated in the design and creation of exhibitions and museums from their conceptualization to their opening: Papalote Museo del Niño, Mexico City and La Espiral de la Vida, Puerto Rico. At least 4 museums have been created and opened based on the MIDE model (France,Canada, Austria and the USA). She currently advises the Museo de Ciencias Ambientales in Jalisco and the Museum of Economics in Saudi Arabia. 

Her activity of cultural promotion and advancement of the museum profession has been very important for Mexico: President of ICOM and AMMCCYT, as well as representative at an international level in the International Council of Museums (ICOM), the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC), founder and President of the International Federation of Finance Museums (IFFM). 

Awarded with the ICOM Mexico Recognition for her professional career and the Anáhuac Medal for Merit in Design in 2018, as a world reference in didactic museology.
