Tony Boita

Tony Boita is a museologist and cultural agent and holds a Master’s Degree in Social Anthropology from the Universidade Federal de Goiás, UFG (2017). He was a substitute professor for the Museology Degree at UFG (2015-2017). Since 2011, he has developed a mapping of museums, memory spaces and community initiatives that preserve and diffuse the memories and stories of transvestites, transsexuals, lesbians, bisexuals and gays. In 2015, he coordinated the LGBT Memory project at the Museu de Favela (MUF) of Pavão, Pavãozinho and Cantagalo, in Rio de Janeiro. He currently coordinates the Revista Memória LGBT and an LGBT cultural heritage project.
