Thais Creolezio

Thais Creolezio is a cultural agent of the City Council of Jaboticabal (São Paulo, Brazil) and since 2014 works at the Museu Histórico de Jaboticabal Aloísio de Almeida, where she is responsible for the development of projects for the areas of Research, Conservation and Communication. She has experience as a professor of Higher Education degrees and in the management of cultural and artistic projects. She was a member of the Conselho de Defesa do Patrimônio Cultural de Jaboticabal (2014-2019), a member of the Conselho Municipal de Cultura (2014-2016) and Regional Representative of Ribeirão Preto in the Sistema Estadual de Museus de São Paulo (SISEM-SP), 2016-2018. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP-SP) and is currently completing her Master’s Degree in the “Interunidades em Museología” Postgraduate Program of the Universidade de São Paulo (USP-SP). She also dedicates her work to the implementation and strengthening of museological programs focused on actions and projects aimed at enhancing social protagonism in the processes of patrimonialization and musealization of cultural references, memories and stories, and in the socio-cultural and economic development of local communities.
