Ximena Escalera Zamudio holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences from the Universidad Intercontinental. She holds a Master’s Degree and a Doctorate in Art History from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, including a research stay at the Universidad de Barcelona. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Museology from the Escuela Nacional de Conservación, Restauración y Museografía. She has carried out documentary and iconographic research for different art publishing projects. From 2011 to 2013, she was a researcher at the Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes. In August 2015, she joined the area of ​​research and coordination of the “Asuntos del Arte” collection in Ediciones Manivela. Since 2017, she is part of the Fundación Pedro y Elena Hernández, as Coordinator of Exhibitions and Research in the Jardín Escultórico de Edward James, Las Pozas, located in Xilitla, within the Huasteca Potosina in Mexico.
