Karima Grant
Karima Grant is the founder and director of ImagiNation Afrika, Senegal’s first children’s museum. There she directs a team creating innovative educational programming integrating local culture, games and experiential learning to foster the development of creative and critical thinking in children 6 months to 19 years. Grant has always believed in a world where children become change makers who solve the problems of development. As a writer, Karima believes in language as a tool for creating powerful new possibilities. As a former educator, she believes in curiosity as an anchor for lifelong learning. In 2016 Karima was elected an Ashoka ReImagine Learning Fellow.
