Lucía González

Lucía González is Advisor of the Office of the High Commissioner for Peace. Prior to this, she was the director of the museum Casa de la Memoria in Medellín. There she contributed to the memorialization of violence and of armed conflict in Medellín as well as Colombia as a whole. At various times González directed a number of diverse cultural entities, including Theater Pablo Tobón Uribe, the Orchestra Filarmónica and the Museum of Antioquia.

She has had public positions such as Planning Director of the Government of Antioquia and Social Director of the Reconstruction of the Coffee Hub after the earthquake of 1999.

Among the awards she has received are Ejecutiva del año (1990), Los rostros de la paz (1992) and Excelencia en el campo social (1994).
